Okenite Geode from India
Okenite is known for its white, hair-like crystals that form delicate clusters. The clusters are very reminiscent of cotton wools. The largest quantities of Okenite come from India, as do the pieces in our range. Okenite is often associated with zeolites such as Apophyllite, Heulandite and Stilbite. Okenite was first described in 1828 and is named after German naturalist Lorenz Oken.
